About Us
Helping offices become dog friendly
At The Office Dog, we’re the UK’s only company dedicated to creating professional, dog-friendly workplaces.
We know that office dogs bring huge benefits — happier teams, stronger culture, and better retention — but without the right setup, things can quickly slip into noise, mess, or distraction. That’s where we come in.
Our team combines scientific know-how with hands-on experience to design and implement systems that work: clear policies, safe layouts, hygiene standards, and training that keeps everyone comfortable — whether they’re a dog lover or not.
The result? A productive, safe, and welcoming workplace where dogs are a genuine asset to your office, not a liability.

Our Story
Emily began her career in a large office, where she became fascinated by the relationship between dogs and humans. As she dug into the research, one thing became clear: dogs in the workplace can reduce stress, boost morale, and improve overall wellbeing. The evidence was overwhelming, yet very few businesses were actually allowing dogs into their offices.
Why? Because while the benefits were clear, the logistics were not. Policies, risk assessments, employee preferences, and day-to-day management made it feel too complicated for most organisations to implement.
A few years later, that gap led to the creation of The Office Dog.
The idea was simple: help businesses unlock the proven benefits of dog-friendly workplaces, without the operational burden. By handling the practicalities, The Office Dog makes it easy for companies to introduce dogs into the office in a structured, safe and inclusive way.
At the same time, the world of work was changing. After the pandemic, many people welcomed dogs into their lives while working from home. Now, as office attendance increases again, those same employees are facing a new challenge: balancing their return to the workplace with the needs of their pets.
The Office Dog sits at the intersection of these two shifts—supporting businesses that want happier, more engaged teams, and employees who want to spend less time worrying about dog care and more time doing their best work.
